Foreza Del Destino
Cari Lynn Vaughn
Cari contemplates her Destiny during 2006. She leaves the University to work odd jobs through a temp agency. Eventually, she settles into a position as a home health aid and picks up some hours teaching Yoga and Creative Writing at an Adult Education Program. More importantly, Cari explores the metaphysics of Alias and follows the Hypertext clues of Lost. With the help of Bill Moyers, she examines the dichotomy of Faith and Reason. These explorations lead her deeper inside herself and she is able to find peace with her past. By Summer, she has produced her new novel Freedom For Celestria and her book of Mythological Themed Poetry Persephone's Echo and a paper on Lost. Then things take a darker turn as fall finds Cari dealing with a miscarriage and discovering Gnosticism. Her destiny, she learns, is to shine a light on the dark places inside and learn how to accept both the light and the dark.
