Miseries of the Conflict
Umair Ali Wani
Today's world is crippled in conflicts which mainly include social, economical and political problems. The victims of these conflicts are mainly the prosaic individuals who are oblivious of real ground situation. The book is about few characters who are born in a country subjugated by its neighbor. Every character plays its role to emancipate its people from the conflict but all their exertions die out before the policies and tactics of their imperial power. The role to crush any type of movement has been played by Basit and Sharma. The characters use non-violent method of education to promote the idea of freedom which is ruthlessly crushed by agencies. The characters also adopt violent method like armed movement which hits back at those who support it. The book discusses the consequences of being the resident of conflict zone. The book ends with allotment of new type of colonialism disguised as freedom to the colony.
