How to Build the Gambia

In his latest book, author and philanthropist Yaya Sillah expresses his opinion on the political atmosphere since Gambia gained independence from British colonial rule, and gives us his personal experience of the political impasses which erupted after the December 2016 presidential election. He summarises the major political and social events which took place in the Gambia, particularly from 1994 to 2017. This includes the rise and the fall of President Jammeh, as well as the political and economic challenges facing the Gambia in the post-Jammeh era. He makes strong recommendations for the political and economic future of the Gambia.
