Michel Ward is the husband of Danielle and they have three beautiful daughters: Lauren (17), Hannah (11), and Arianna (8). He is originally from a town near Houston, TX called Cedar, Lake, Texas. He was educated at the University of Houston in his undergraduate studies and went on to complete his graduate divinity work for his Master's degree at Fuller Theological in Pasadena, CA. He has served recently as the Deputy Director of Chaplaincy at the Harris County Sheriff's Department and Chaplain at Ben Taub Hospital in their CPE program. He is currently in recovery from a hemorrharic stroke that that occurred on June 25, 2013 on both sides of his brain. He remains in his post as Service Pastor in the local church along with nationwide evangelical ministry. He and his wife on a daily basis oversee their ministry, ilovemarriage.com and give speeches throughout. This my wife, Danielle who is a John Maxwell speaker and holds a Masters of Arts from Kent State University. It was this woman's faith that maintained when doctors declared last year that he was not going to make it through the night or if he did, he would be a vegetable". She's very instrumental in assisting Michael to fulfill his calling to minister to married couples, men, young ladies, and prisoners.
