This is my story of how as an former Chemistry teacher. I went from being a teacher teaching gifted high school students and working in Social Services helping seniors, disabled and mentally impaired people from losing their apartments, due to rental arrears. Eventually due to health issues I resigned and applied for disability. This process was a complete odyssey for me. I became homeless and drifted on a Homer like odyssey. During this odyssey, I crossed the path of many people. Educators, drug addicts gang leaders murders and many conniving people, the worse being a former Rhodes Scholar, who studied at Oxford with former President Bill Clinton. I was unsuccessful in my quest to end my homelessness in the USA. I eventually went on a Marco Polo like expedition. In fact my travels over a 16 period made me a combination of a Marco Polo and Ibn Battuta, a 13 Century Moroccan traveler. I traveled to over 11 countries in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. After journeying back and forth to China, I acquired a 10 year business visa. the result of an unfortunate incident in me losing my ATM in Hong Kong, led me to China. It was here that I stumbled upon the prefabricated bamboo housing business. It was here that I acquired my Chinese name Kong Qiu from a very prominent Chinese businessman. This was Confucius. Another friend who is a Mathematician stated that I reminded him of Confucius. Then he joked and said who knows, you may be Confucius reincarnated as a Black man. I ended up having a Chinese dream after getting into the Prefabricated Bamboo housing business along with permaculture and Aquaponics.
