One issue that often brings conflict between Christians and Muslims is the issue of the identity of Jesus Christ and that of Muhammad. Why Muslims see Jesus Christ as nothing more than a servant and a messenger of Allah, the Christians see him beyond that, Christians see Jesus as the Son of God the very image of the invisible God who came into the world the save man from sin and destruction. You would not need to have much training in Christian Theology to be able to see that Jesus' foot print is in almost all the books of the Bible; from Genesis to Revelation. In the Bible you see Jesus in prophesies, Jesus in action and Jesus in allusion. Christians never mistake Muhammad for anything other than a false prophet and an impostor into the Abrahamic monotheism, but the Muslims consider him a prophet and a messenger of Allah their God and a role model for all his followers. The reasons for these two different and divergent views are not farfetched, Muslims read the Bible in the light of the Quran. The Quran claim that it is the final revelation of God, you will lose out if you don't key in. While Christians read the Quran in the light of the Bible, the unchangeable eternal word of God, and that leads to different conclusion and identification of the two great personalities Jesus and Muhammad. Ironically, however, the very characteristics of Muhammad as extoled in the Quran and Hadiths as those of a great prophet are the same characteristics when looking at in the light of the gospel of Christ the same exposed him as a false prophet, but this is completely concealed to the Muslims. The Quran required the Muslims to check up with the Bible for confirmation of the truth of the Quranic revelation, but the extent to which Muslims hid to this instruction is a different thing altogether (Q5:47-49,10:94) In this book, however we will look at Jesus and Muhammad in the light of the Bible revelation in an attempt to answer sundry questions that will help probe into some basic truth about these two personalities with the aim of helping you make right decision that may determine your destiny. This is not being partial but the right thing to do since the Bible predate the Quran for at least 600 years and if they both came from the same source then the former should be the benchmark for the confirmation of the truth. After going through this book, you should be able to take responsibility for who you trust with your life in time and in eternity. It is your God given ability to discern and to choose between good and evil. Christian attempt to reach the Muslims with the gospel of Jesus Christ has always been met with strong resistance and the reasons are obvious: It has always been because of lack of proper knowledge of who really was Jesus Christ and who was Muhammad. There are a number of things that fuel their stiff resistance to the Gospel: The Muslims are under the illusion that God has given them the best religion in the world, not knowing that religion is a curse to mankind, no religion is capable of given man salvation. The word religion is not even mentioned in the Old Testament of the Bible and in the few places where it was mentioned in the New Testament is not something one should desire to have. From Genesis to Revelation God wants man to relate to him in a family relationship predicated on love. A relationship based on pure love towards God and towards our fellow men. The Quran made Muslims to understand that one of the unpardonable sins of man is to make God a partner with man, and Christianity and Judaism happens to falls under the categories of religion that makes their prophets partners with God according to Islam and this is shirk the unpardonable sin.
