Scores to Settle

The story of the Great War in verse. Few wars will evoke such images of horror and futility in the mind as World War One. Also, for many people it happened so long ago that they barely give it another thought, or feel that its causes and consequences are far too boring to even begin to understand it. This poem will possibly help them understand it better, and, to the historians out there, this poem might well enhance what they already know.
