This novel takes place during the '70s extraordinarily violent and "secret war" at an American CIA firebase in Laos, run by a corrupt and brutal commander, Jimmy Love. Seasoned Special Ops agent, Zack Ogle, and beautiful, young, Laotian doctor, Nittaya Aromdee, fall madly in love. The story's action peaks when Nittaya is exposed as a communist operative. The couple then must choose between their love for each other, and their love for their respective countries.
