This book evaluated the adoption, impacts, and computer-mediated benefits of a computer-assisted school-based sexuality and HIV/AIDS intervention. This intervention is known as the World Starts With Me (WSWM), and is implemented in schools in Uganda. The investigation included quantitative controlled before-after evaluation consisting of 584 surveys, 53 interviews, two focus group discussions comprising of 50 participants, and review of secondary data collection sources. The result is an account of the impacts and benefits of the intervention, adoption moderators, stakeholder segments, and an integration framework. This book will be of interest to education managers, health informaticians, health professionals, HIV/AIDS interventionists, and to students and academicians in a wide range of disciplines including Health Education, Informatics, Behavioural Sciences, epidemiology, and Public Health. The book is a PhD research which was sponsored by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kindom, and supervised by Dr. Donal Flynn at the University of Manchester.
