Applied Bioinformatics: Unique Gene Expression Patterns in Hematopoietic-stem Cells from Different Sources
G. Sindhuja
Stem cell biology has currently emerged as one of the most exciting areas of biomedical research. Hematopoietic stem cells are involved in the production of blood cells. Microarray-based studies of global gene expression have led to dramatic advances in understanding of various biological processes. The goal of the study was to explore unique gene expression pattern across HSCs derived from four different origins - cord blood, liver, bone marrow and peripheral blood. This piece of research focus will be highly beneficial to academicians, scientists and industrial innovators across the realm of applied biomedical research.
