It is known that pregnancy due to a number of hemodynamic, metabolic and emotional changes is characterized by a stress factor even for almost healthy women. Cardiovascular disease in pregnant women is one of the most clinically significant forms of extragenital pathology, with an incidence of 10-32%. Despite the measures being taken, an increase in mortality from CVD among pregnant and parturient women has been noted, ranging from 0.2-2.5% to 22%, according to different authors. The monograph was prepared on the basis of research work and is devoted to the problem of the clinical and pathogenetic features of arterial hypertension in pregnant women and the specific features of pathophysiological changes. The monograph discusses the pathogenesis, classification, reflects the features of diagnosis, clinical manifestations, as well as methods of therapy and prevention.
