Are you looking for a book that will help you teach your child to write? Then you have found what you are looking for! Embark on an exciting journey through the entire ABCs together with your child.
Writing is one of the first skills that school children learn. The time of wild scribbling has come to an end and suddenly clear lines are to be formed into letters and words. This is not easy for everyone: learning the letters is a great challenge, also on a motor level. While some children eagerly get started and soon develop a certain feel for the pencil, others need a little more assistance and time to get there. It's perfectly normal that some letters are easier to transcribe than others. After all, an "I" is much simpler than a "G" or an "M," for example. As your child learns with each letter - whether child's play or challenging - he or she will gradually develop the skills necessary to write even tricky letters with confidence.
To keep your child motivated to learn, the learning process must be lined with as many successes as possible. This book therefore takes a step-by-step approach. The individual lowercase and uppercase letters - from Aa to Zz - are introduced one after the other. Ideally, the next letter is not started until the previous one has already been memorized well. For this reason, learning each letter is divided into three simple steps that are clearly separated from each other:
Tracing
In order to become familiar with the movement that must be made with the pencil, each letter is first simply traced. If your child still has difficulty after the first pass, the process can easily be repeated with a pencil of a different color.
Completing the word
This is followed by a word that contains the letter just learned. Your child is learning to put the letter into a word. Encourage your child to read the word aloud - this way the corresponding sound is practiced directly.
Writing independently
In the third step, the time has finally come: Your child learns to write the letter freely and without pre-drawn lines. Of course, auxiliary lines are provided to help the child place the letter at the correct height.
In this way, your child learns the entire alphabet in an encouraging but not overwhelming way, always practicing the uppercase letter first and only then the lowercase letter. By looking at each letter three times, your child is exposed to a set, reliable structure that they can follow at their own pace.
