This book is an unusual hybrid of fiction and nonfiction to explain the male pelvic floor. There are five central characters whose worlds are unraveling due to pelvic floor dysfunction. These characters navigate through the world via short stories of erectile dysfunction, urinary pain and leakage, and prostate cancer. We are invited to hear their unique internal struggles as they are stripped of their sexuality and the consequences this holds in the rest of their lives.


The book then shifts to a nonfiction platform to uncover the science behind erectile dysfunction and prostate cancer. Research is unveiled to address treatments available for men with erectile dysfunction and urinary problems.

The finale of the book takes a long, hard look at masculinity in today's world; the challenges, the misrepresentation of men during recent times and the need to promote healthy male sexuality for a more balanced world.
