Leaving Bar Harbor

This is William Cannon's first published book of poetry. "Leaving Bar Harbor" is a cycle of poetry written from the author's experiences on the Maine coast. The poetry refracts imagination through the lens of a writer whose journey to New England from the midwest evolved to maturity in a 'down right done right Down East' way. From whimsy to sorrow, from punctual fantasy to winter song, these poems will provide the reader with lateral views from a linear world.
