In a world where superpowers suddenly begin to manifest among different people, one of them the DreamCaster--young Esperanza Pelayo--answers the call to stand as a Heroine against those who would use these powers for World Domination. Riding into Los Angeles from Palestine on a rainbow, a man calling himself MindBender has determined that he will use his powers to conquer the world and enslave all of humanity. Unknown to either the DreamCaster or MindBender, in far off China young Mistle Tow eagerly watches the LiveStream of their fight. Studying them, and practicing with her own newfound abilities. She knows that whichever one wins, they will face her, and Mistle Tow does not intend to take any prisoners.
