Blue Note Essentials is a new vinyl reissue series from Blue Note Records, created to make some of the most celebrated albums in jazz history more accessible than ever. Designed as an affordable entry point into the legendary Blue Note catalogue, the series brings timeless jazz classics back into print at a budget-friendly price without compromising on the music itself. The goal is simple: to introduce a new generation of listeners to essential jazz recordings while giving longtime collectors an easy way to add iconic albums to their shelves.
The inaugural wave of Blue Note Essentials releases showcases five of the most influential and enduring albums in the Blue Note catalogue, spanning hard bop, vocal jazz and post-bop masterpieces. The first batch includes:

• Herbie Hancock – Maiden Voyage
