James May - the Reassembler - Series

James May presents this four-part BBC series in which he reassembles household appliances to gain a better understanding of how they work. As he puts hundreds of individual components back together again to restore the stripped-down objects, James learns more about their history and explains how the parts work on an individual level and as a whole. The episodes are: 'Christmas: Hornby Train Set', 'Food Mixer', 'Mini Motorcycle' and 'Portable Record Player'.
