Lee Wiley
Early Jazz/Pop vocalist Lee Wiley is well represented on this live recording from 1944. Her languid, husky voice and relaxed style was appreciated by many of the great jazz musicians of the 40's. This CD contains 20 tracks and a 14 minute interview of Wiley from 1968. Backed by a seven piece band Lee sings some classic songs including: A Ghost of a Chance, I've Got a Crush on You, Someone to Watch Over Me, the Man I Love, Don't Blame Me, Sweet And Lowdown, When Your Lover Has Gone.
