Captain Sensible
Captain Sensible was a founding member of legendary punk band The Damned. Whilst still a member of The Damned in 1982 he signed a solo deal with A&M Records.
In June 1982, he reached number 1 in the UK with a cover of Rodgers and Hammerstein's 'Happy Talk' from the musical 'South Pacific'. This classic album also includes the follow up hit singles 'Wot' and 'Croydon'. It also includes six bonus tracks - including B-sides (one of which 'Damned On 45' is a seven minute medley of Damned/Captain tracks) and a track from The Captain's own archives. This reissue includes extensive sleeve notes by Pat Gilbert (Mojo, Record Collector).
