Sounds of the 70s
Compilation
The 70s... It was a time where musical genres fought for
dominance. Prog-rock came and went, heavy metal flourished,
as did glam-rock and the phenomenon that was disco while punk
eventually raised it's shaven-head above the parapet as the
decade eased to it's end. Additionally, in the corner of every pub
and motorway café, there'd be a jukebox, dispensing an array of
sounds that included pure pop, reggae, golden age soul and
even a smattering of country music. Which pretty much
describes the superb collection of chartbusters that are
assembled on this compilation.
