The emotions and experiences described in these pages could be anyone's. This is why this book is for you! Because when we are dealing with the challenges of life, it feels like our personal burden is heavier than anyone else's. If feels insurmountable, unrelatable, isolating. It feels, maybe, too shameful to share our thoughts and fears, so we compound it by bearing it alone. I want you to know that you are one of us: the survivors!
