Education, Essay in the form of a Symposium
Traumear
Several parents, after a lighthearted exchange of opinion on the subject, came to the conclusion that they really knew precious little about the kind of education they wanted for their children. They agreed in so far as their expectations were high and their hopes sincere, but they were unable to settle on anything specific. It seemed like a good idea to pursue the matter. Individually they approached a few teachers, but still, when they compared notes afterwards, they were far from happy with their results. More than ever they were appalled by how poorly they understood this thing called Education. But they felt that it concerned them at least as much as the house they lived in, the food they ate and the exercise they took. During this symposium they join with a philosopher, a psychologist, an instructor and a scientist as they try to expand their knowledge on the topic of education.
