A Time Travelling Tank

It was meant to be a fun play on the beach on a lovely sunny day. But suddenly they were standing in a forest in the dead of night.

Sarah had been enjoying the rare moment of inclusion with her brother and his friend. Now the three are stuck, far from home and apparently in the middle of a war.

Iain had questions, why would anyone build a time travelling tank? More to the point, why would they then bury it on a beach where anyone might fall into it? And if you had a time machine, and you accidentally killed Hitler, would mum be annoyed?

John just wanted to go home. At least they had a time machine though, they could just nip back home to tea time! Right?
