Brewster Gaines loves everything about making videos. Coming up with new ideas, filming it just right, planning out exactly when to upload to get the best chance of views; he loves it all. So what if he doesn't have friends to work on videos with or parents that are home every night for dinner? He's got a phone that records and that's all he needs.

But when he decides to enlist the acting chops of new kid Carly to help him film a 10-second video, he soon gets a lot more than he bargained for when her friend Rosa steps in with funding to produce a fantasy movie trailer instead.
