What do you do with the rest of your life when, shortly after moving from Manhattan to a small town up the Hudson, your beloved and successful writer husband suddenly dies? This is the dilemma that faces Frances Terry. In the profound shock of this reversal, Frances belatedly accepts the fact that her own life will continue. Money is not a problem, but how to fill the gap in her life is. So she accepts the first offer that comes her way-delivering meals to the needy of her small community. At the same time, she decides that now is the time to renew her neglected talent for painting.
