A Fathers Son is a collection of true stories . The Author , raised on a remotely located subsistance farm in Northern Ontario by a abusive father relates, in A Fathers Son , many tales of the adventures that he experienced during his abused early formative years . While not dwelling extensively on the abuse he was subjected to during those long ago years , he does occasionally reveal some of these mental and physical abuses to the reader. Names, characters and places in A Fathers Son are either the product of the Authors imagination or used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual locales, organizations or persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental.
