Jockey Hollow is an historical adventure novel which journeys into the paranormal. The setting is Morristown, New Jersey, and in regions thereabouts. The place is Jockey Hollow, scene of the 18th century encampment of General Washington's Continental Army in the winter of 1779-1780. The story departs from the ordinary when a 20th century lawyer, Greg Toll, on visiting historic Jockey Hollow, appears to be unexplainably awakened into the 18th century. What follows confounds both him and his family, and constitutes the puzzling saga of a man who exists simultaneously in two different centuries. Private Dirk Conason they call him, but he swears that he's not that man. Jockey Hollow is a tale of patriotism and betrayal, of heroic deeds and traitorous acts, and it's a story of tender love and survival during the coldest winter of the 18th century.
