Following both the church year and the calendar year, the book can be used either as a page-a-day calendar book or as a guide to the liturgical readings in the church calendar. Each page offers a Scripture quotation from the dayís lectionary readings, a brief meditation to spur contemplation and spiritual exploration, and a complete list of the daily readings. Also included are special days in the church year, such as saintsí feast days, solemnities, and holidays.
