Best friends Echo and Telia are really experiencing some "interesting" times.

Echo received a call on her twenty-first birthday that changed her life forever. Fourteen years later, she gets to add a pink slip to her birthday confetti. She wishes the calendar would skip over this particular day because her mental state won't tolerate one more tragedy. And then the phone rings with news that signals another ungranted birthday wish.
