The Path of Christ: Awakening Compassion Within (Volume 1)

There are millions of books on Christianity. What makes this book different? It solidifies the Path Jesus set before us. This Path leads to awakening the Christos within us. How do we do that? By practicing those things Jesus instructed us to do? It is not easy. In fact, it is one of the most difficult Paths to follow. We have to carry our own cross by letting go of desire, fear, selfishness, greed, attachments, and everything else we hold so dearly to. We have to cleanse the inside of the cup by controlling our thoughts, emotions, words, and actions while pulling ourselves out of the unconscious muck we have buried ourselves in. The Path is scary, lonely, tiresome, and difficult: this is the truth. I wish it was easy, at least then I would not feel like a failure and a fraud all the time because I cannot live up to it. This first of three books on the Path of Christ leads the practitioner towards self-knowledge and the embodiment of the 33 qualities of Christ. Those who walk the Christian Path find fulfillment, wholeness, contentment, tranquility, freedom, abundance, lasting happiness, and boundless joy. To begin walking this Path we must be willing to let go of ourselves (Luke 9:23-24).
