Kortez was released from jail after serving three years for gun trafficking and drug distribution. He hoped things had changed with the wife Cathy, as he tried to readjust to life on the outside, rekindle things with her, and make up for the time he lost. But, things didn't go as Kortez hoped. Cathy made it hard with her dramatic mood swings every single day, with the arguing that he didn't want to hear. The drama soon pushed him in another direction.
