This is a story of four people, my grandfathers, (paternal and maternal) my father and me. One ended up in the Europe of 1800s. The other literally walked into Africa and jetted out when the world had taken a giant leap forward. My father was my father and a gem. I saw him booted out of Uganda in 1972 by a tyrant. Now I live in the ultra modern West and search for that past and also the future we all yearn. Search, a word when translated in Hindi is Khoj.
