The About-Face Series

The About-Face Series: The King is the second of a two-part series continuing to familiarize readers with Genesis Pharrell and a host of other dynamic supporting pieces in the chess game called "life". Read how they willingly and unwillingly continue to encounter strategic moves that can lead to life or death decisions. Now that Genesis' only sister, Geanecce has been shot and is now laying in a coma...will he thoughts continue to be focused on reclaiming the life that has been on hold for ten years, or will redemption become the catalyst for his new motivation. Genesis will have to trust and team up with "knights" to strategically protect "the king" while navigating through a series of about-face moves. These relationships are the only way to prevent the attempt on his sister's life from becoming a draw or stalemate. The challenge for the now free man is trusting the right knights, so that he doesn't end up a pawn, jeopardizing the few family members he has left.
