Craving the Love of a Drag Queen

Franklin Carter grew up in Alabama in a female-dominated household where he always dreamed of designing evening gowns for the rich and famous, like his favorite, Diana Ross. While he baked biscuits, cakes, and pies at the family's luncheonette, other boys were playing sports and chasing girls. He had to deal with unacceptance, ridicule and assumptions about his sexuality, mostly from his family until he started dating Pattie Hollis. Pattie, who knew nothing of his inner struggles, had her own fair share of secrets but she fell head over heels for him and after a year of dating, they decided to get married. Fulfilling his dreams of owning a successful boutique and living a lie, Franklin is designing clothes for Pattie's uncle and other drag queens, all while playing the role of the devoted, loving husband. In this facade of a marriage, trust and vows are broken. New and old people pop up in both of their lives and insecurities take over.
