An Historical Account of Coffee: With an Engraving, and Botanical Description of the Tree - Cambridge Library Collection - Botany and Horticulture

Published in 1774, this tract considers the characteristics, cultivation and uses of the coffee plant. Written by John Ellis (c.1710–76), botanist, zoologist and London agent for Dominica, it includes the story of coffee's introduction into Europe.
