Under the Emirati Sun

Follow the life of Nadiya Al-Najjar, a young Arab Muslim woman of Emirati descent living on her own for the first time while attending the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. In this busy metropolis, the formerly cloistered young woman experiences a brand new world by experimenting and fearlessly exploring. A chance encounter brings someone new into her life. Fellow University of Toronto student Andre Sauveur, a towering, roughly handsome and sensitive Haitian-Canadian scholar. These two outsiders unexpectedly fall in love. . .and that's when their problems began. For they come from completely different worlds. . .and many don't want to see them together.
