Theoretical and Technical Basis for the Optimization of Wind Energy Plants
Yuly Sokolovsky
Description: The work contains an analytical review of modern wind energy, based on different physical principles. We consider wind installations with horizontal-axial and vertical-axial configurations, innovative designs for wind turbines. Also, modern methods and possibilities for scaling and optimal regulation of wind parks are considered. Mathematical models for the interaction of airflow with blades of collinear and orthogonal plants have been developed, and methods for optimal regulation have been identified that increase the energy efficiency of plants. A number of patent developments represent promising directions for the development of wind energy: horizontal and vertical collinear installations, vertical-axial orthogonal devices with unregulated and self-regulating blades and with optimal control systems based on the author methods of optimizing.
