Robert Gordon is a successful rancher in the New Mexico Teritority. He has lived a life that he would just as soon forget. His past is behind him and the future looks good. He is surprised when the local store owner tells him She has ran an advirtisment in a Chicago newspaper for a wife, on his behalf, and there is a response. Robert is angry at the meddling woman, but his curiosity is peaked. so he responds. He becomes intrigued with the woman and through the exchange of letters, he sends for her. Corra McEntire arrives in the small town of Silver Springs from Chicago and wins the heart of Robert. Their new found love will be tested when his past arrives in town.
