Drafted

Drafted is a coming of age comedy about Eli J. Jones, acollege student, who is illegally drafted, and thrown into the U. S. Army duringthe life-threatening era of Vietnam. Despitehis mantra of "I'm not supposed to be here," Eli quickly adapts, making manynew friends -- Harry, Tex, Steve, the Professor, ex-football star, Sam, and thelovely Nurse Sara. They help Eli cope with the insane Colonel Clark, and defeatSergeant, "Must kill Eli" Worlinski. Eli's adventures continue through AIT andinfantry officer candidate school, where he overcomes "Mad Dog" Drummond, nudefire drills, a million push-ups, Miss Tiger Tactics - a snake-charmingstripper, brass pickers, and being buried alive. Aftera brief, but fulfilling, romp with three stewardesses in Seattle, Eli finds himself in steamy Da Nang. Will his charm, and the help of the seven dwarfs,let Eli survive combat and an appearance on Bob Hope's Christmas show?
