This novel is set in an imaginary time and place, populated by creative Farekan Warriors, arrogant Kuarentian Soldiers and a subtle type of magic given by mysterious gods. This world is populated with rich characters, such as Damos, a warrior with an anger he cannot control; Terrenis, a high ranking soldier who has lost the taste for killing, and Kinella, a woman whose ambitions conflict with her growing feelings for Damos. This story provides an insight into the "way of the warrior" mentality, which includes the nature of violence in battle and single combat and the different types of warrior attitudes and their codes of conduct.
