Letters from Michael

Letters from Michael centers on Andrew Curtis King, a young, charismatic, and driven politician who has made quite a name for himself. He is thirty five years old, a seasoned politician who has served as representative, is currently a senator for his home state of Texas, and has been launched into the national limelight as the frontrunner for the Republican primaries race for President. The storyline follows Andrew and his political staff through the last months of his campaign leading up to the National Republican Convention. Andrew grows up a devout man, behind a family that appears wholesome to the outside world, but has its fair share of problems. He goes through hard times with his family while in college, and in a desperate attempt to run away, disowns his previous life. He buries his old life, and immerses himself into making a new one. Within five years, he is a President of a prestigious corporation, a company that Andrew designed from the ground up, and a representative in the House of Representatives for the state of Texas. He meets the right people in business and politics, and he becomes an instant success and sensation almost overnight. Yet as Andrew climbs farther up the political ladder, he realizes that he is distancing himself further and further from his unadulterated ideals of pure politics. Andrew battles his kind nature tied to his previous life, and tries to balance this with his hardball world of business and politics. As more compromises are made and more deals rendered, Andrew starts having mixed thoughts of the virtues and morals that he has sworn are nothing more than fairy tales for the weak. In the last weeks of his campaign, he starts receiving mysterious letters every Thursday simply addressed to 'Andrew' in the courier service (an impossible feat, since all mail is screened relentlessly for president elects), from a source who identifies himself simply as 'Michael.' Michael's letters provoke a great amount of trial and tribulation fo
