The fact that some churches hold Christian baptism to be just an ordinance and others teach it as a sacrament while others say it's irrelevant, only made my search and discovery more pertinent. These three views oppose one another, which make reconciliation of their teachings impossible. Because their gospels are basically the same, often thought not to be so because of differing theological approaches, yet is central to the disunity of Christian baptism's symbolism of purpose!
