He's My Son
Vedah Sipe-casella
Sucking in a deep breath, he reaches down and picks up the child. If anyone stops him he can always say he was going to try to find the child's parents. Slipping quietly through the crowd and around the corner of the building to the truck he assures Bobby they can go find some ice cream. Thus begins the kidnapping of his illegitimate son. RYAN has lived a privileged life, the son of a judge and socially prominent mother only to have this sheltered life pulled out from under him when he is set up by his employer and serves two years in jail. Upon his release he finds he has a three year old son by an old college girl friend who instead of having an abortion had delivered the boy and placed him up for adoption. Trying to turn his life around he involves himself in an architecural firm in Mexico and later opens a branch in Brazil. Fighting to remove the memory of the boy from his mind he finds he has become obsessed with having a son and forms ideas of what it would be like to kidnap the boy and take him to live with him in Brazil. Would the kidnapping have happend if the boy hadn't run away to see the parade? How will he react as an adult when he learns his father had kidnapped him?
