Contributor Bio: Barry, Chris Chris Barry is a lifetime resident of South Dennis, New Jersey, a small, rural town near the Delaware Bay shore that has a rich history as a nineteenth century shipbuilding and commercial hub. He was inspired as a child by the stories told to him by the area's elderly natives. It is not only the history, but the culture of self-reliant craftsmen and entrepreneurs upon which the 'Joe Bass' novels are based. Chris Barry's use of locale and local lore is masterful. Chris is both author and illustrator. The fifth volume is in preparation. Contributor Bio: Lang, Michael Michael Lang has produced festivals in East Berlin, the concert at the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, Woodstock '94, and Woodstock '99, among many other events worldwide. He is the head of the Michael Lang Organization, producing live events; is a partner in Woodstock Ventures; and, with Sam Nappi, runs Harmony Entertainment, producing film and theater. He lives in upstate New York.
