Smiling: the Book of Love

A collection of happier stories and poems taken from More Heresies from Iyan Igma, The Dementia of Iyan Igma, and The Repressed Memories of Iyan Igma. There are even a few from in significance, which is a work in progress. This is the Book of Love, and the subject is dealt with in both serious and comical tones. These poems are gathered here in one place because one of my most important readers has no interest in the sick and demented that I have been known to write. It's a shame really. The piece d'resistance is La Extranjera, a poem cycle involving the cross-cultural love between an ESOL teacher and one of his student's parents that develops despite logic and tradition.
