The Adventures of Cory: Lessons in Disobedience

This book is about a little raccoon name Cory. He did a bad thing, by disobeying his mother. She told him to stay in the yard however, Cory left the yard after giving in to peer pressure by his friend Trent. They wondered into the forest, Cory and Trent got separated while running away from Willie badger. Cory was now lost in "The Enchanted Forest" and often found himself in a lot of trouble while trying to find his way home. This is an excellent book for pre-school and elementary children. It expresses what can happen when you disobey your parents /guardians. It also informs children how they should communicate with others. It concludes by letting them know that just because you made a mistake, it does not mean that it is the end of the world.
