Jen Darling, an FBI agent working undercover, meets a New Mexico State policeman, John Paul Casey. Both are assigned to work undercover when weapons and sensitive data are reported missing at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. An immediate attraction develops between them and their assignment pulls them together, but the severity of the case and other personal complications soon begin to push them apart. Jen is wounded and taken hostage, and Casey must choose between freeing Jen and stopping the sale of a top-secret weapon that could jeopardize national security.
