Love Plus One

Shannon McKenna is a shy production assistant with big dreams and even bigger phobias, most of which relating to her double-digit figure. She coasts along quite comfortably in the "Shadows," where she lives vicariously from her fingertips as an aspiring writer.

When a nefarious coworker steals her idea for a hot new dating reality show, she and her best buddy, Jake, concoct an idea to star in this newest production, where they can control it from the inside out . There would be a house full of traditional bachelorettes, and Jake would be the bachelor out to win their hearts, with Shannon portraying the "mole" to weed through the pack to find the right girl for her BFF.

Rather than the typical, superficial hookup game of dating shows past, however, handsome, hunky Jake will eventually choose everygirl Shannon, giving the country a true underdog to champion and putting an entirely new face on love. The problem? The more they fake their relationship, the harder Shannon finds herself falling for real.
