Aleister Crowley

Aleister Crowley; (12 October 1875-1 December 1947), was known as The Great Beast 666. He created the religious philosophy known as Thelema, and was a prolific writer and occultist. In his belief, it was his mission to tell humanity of it's entering into the new Aeon of Horus. He created a commune in Cefalù, 'Abbey of Thelema, ' formed his own occult society, and was also very active in the Ordo Templi Orientis (O. T. O.) He was an avid writer, a recreational drug taker, and a critic of conventional morality. He coined the phrase, "Do what thou wilt," and because of his strange behavior, writing, and social experimenting, he was considered by many to be the, "wickedest man in the world". This compilation features many of his full-length writings, including: The Book of the Law: Liber Al Vel Legis; Book of Lies; The Cephaloedium Working; Concerning Death; Various / Diary Fragments; "Blasphemy" in General & the Rites of Eleusis in Particular; A Galahad in Gamorrah; A Blizzard in the Sahara; A Lecture on the Philosophy of Magick; Acaldama, A Place to Bury Strangers in, and Philosophical Poem; as well, various photographs of Aleister Crowley are in this collection.
