The Awakening

Brooklyn native Tomorrow Thompson is a typical teenager going through adolescence with her four childhood best friends, Shemeka, Melissa, Chante and Kisha. Along this journey the girls share everything, but when a tragic accident turns Tomorrow?s world upside down, she struggles to come to grips with this life altering event. Reeling from the accident, Tomorrow?s childhood friends struggle to keep her on the right path. When Tomorrow is placed in a dangerous situation, she is confronted with the realization that she has inherited special gifts. The knowledge of these special gifts provides little comfort to Tomorrow. Not wanting to be label a freak, Tomorrow decides to ignore her abilities, but when one of her best friend?s life is placed in jeopardy, she is forced to acknowledge, as well as, use these gifts to save her friend?s life.
